A mixed-methods research study utilizing data from surveys, focus groups, and interviews to determine the perception of culturally responsiveness and Hip-Hop Based Education by secondary and post-secondary educators. Research activities were completed in winter and spring of 2022 at several educational institutions.

A mixed-methods research study utilizing data from surveys, focus groups, and interviews to determine the perception of reflective education by post-secondary learners. Research activities are scheduled to begin in the fall of 2022.


All-Black Oklahoma
A qualitative research study utilizing primary research documents and interviews to explore the Black experience in Oklahoma. Topics include the All-Black Towns, Freedmen schools, Greenwood District, Deep Deuce, segregation in public schools and universities, etc. Research activities are ongoing.

A qualitative research study utilizing primary research documents and interviews to explore iconic figures connected to events and places in Oklahoma. Research activities are ongoing.
